Continuing To Harvest The City Of Lichinga

OUR CHILDREN
I’m sure sometimes, people wonder about our children. We are so thankful to the Lord for what He’s been doing with our young, anointed missionaries. They have been overcoming so many challenges since being in Mozambique. Before they didn’t like being in the dirt, or being around all the bugs. Now, they play with dead bugs and collect the live ones as pets. They even play in the dirt without fear of matequenia (the little worms that crawl into your skin). Amerel and Isaiah usually play with 4 of the base leader’s children who are between the ages of 3 – 13. There aren’t any other children close by. It’s a blessing, especially for Amerel who really misses her friends from the U.S. It’s beautiful to see the Lord work in their lives and use them as they join with us in praying, fasting and interceding for the city and the villages.

HARVESTING THE CITY OF LICHING
A Floor Hockey TeamWe asked for the city of Lichinga, and the Lord is continuing to open doors for us there. The Lord has been moving greatly on the heart of Celio, the Christian coach of the only floorball (floor hockey) team in our province of Niassa. He’s a great coach, and the Lord is preparing his heart to carry His glory in this sport. We’ve been spending a lot more time together, and both Fiel and I have been teaching him the word of God so he can confidently share his faith, and impact the lives of many young people.

Guerra Village in the Sanjala district of the city
In Portuguese, Guerra means War. A way has been prepared for us to impact War Village which is known for its spiritual darkness. (We don’t yet know why it has this name). We do know that there is much past hurt and pain in the lives of the people in this village. Fiel and I prayed for a man named Abel de Cruz, who had a swollen leg for months, and now the man is healed, able to walk longer distances and is going to church. Hallelujah! Before the Lord healed his leg, this Christian man joined us in laying down our lives to see the purposes of God fulfilled in the city. We believe this miraculous healing was a prophetic act and a confirmation that the Lord wants to heal the hearts of people in this area, and strengthen His people to be able to “go the distance” with Him. We arranged a meeting to meet with Abel de Cruz this Sunday, after church, to talk more about the presence of the Lord and ministering in the city.

Pray with us that the Lord will also provide us access to minister in one of the two small prisons in the city. The Lord has put this on my heart months ago, and we are waiting for His timing.
VISITING THE U.S. - testimony
We’ve recently been blessed with ¼ of the fare to travel from here in Lichinga, Mozambique to Johannesburg. We know He will provide the rest. Isn’t God wonderful! We already have our tickets from Johannesburg to the U.S.
Jesus is allowing us to visit for His purposes. We are desiring and praying for opportunities to share in churches about the wonderful things the Lord is doing through our ministry in Lichinga, Mozambique. We are also in the process of preparing another video to exclaim the wonders of God that are going on in this poor and dry place.
If you would like us to come and share at your church or other gathering, please send us an email. After seeking the will of the Lord on all invitations, we’ll contact you. We’ll be in the U.S. from ~Nov. 9 – Jan 16. It is not too early to contact us now, to give us time to pray and begin to schedule our time while being in the U.S.
We love you!
