The Fruits of the Greater Harvest In Lichinga

We know the presence of the Lord is here. As the Holy Spirit is preparing people’s hearts to receive Christ, He is bringing all who are willing to listen and work with Him, into the moments He has prepared for people to receive Jesus and be healed. As long as we are willing to welcome the Holy Spirit, there hasn’t been a day that He hasn’t shown up to do marvelous things in our midst. I truly believe the Holy Spirit is waiting for His church to awaken to His love. It’s the love He has to be God within us, work within us, and show us that our lives and ministry is only the fruit of His work. I’m learning that He loves to create opportunities to magnify the name of the Jesus by allowing His glory to flow through our lives in manifestations of glory and miraculous power.

Victor and I were walking in the market, and the Holy Spirit suddenly gave us a drama to do for a man. Since we met this man in Aug/Sept 2007, he would never listen much to the gospel. He usually just said, “Yeah, yeah”, and walked away before we were finished talking. Today, he eagerly listened to the prophetic drama the Lord gave us about his life and his need for God. He readily gave his life to Christ, and listened for a while as we encouraged him to live for God. The day before, Victor led another worker in the same area to Christ, and also the only two unsaved men we ministered to in the hospital.

Last Sunday, two men walked by my house on a stroll from their village which is about 30 minutes away. One of them wanted a match to light a home-made cigarette. But, it was obvious that the Holy Spirit brought them. I told one of them, that unless he really desired to put away his smoking and live for God, he wasn’t ready to receive Christ. Both of them gave their lives to Christ right then. They came to church the same day and rejoiced in the Lord. Afterwards, they were baptized in water (they were so excited). Obviously, these men have been ministered to before but never surrendered their lives to Christ. What a privilege to be trusted by the Lord with “ripe fruit just about to fall off the tree”.

One of our base leaders, Debbie, told me that while she was in a church in the city, a drunk man came in and got on his knees. No one else went over to him, so she went to talk to him. He told her that he wanted to receive Christ. God brought him in the church at that moment so he could be saved.

I went to the hospital to drop off juice for a man whose son was sick (he didn’t have enough money to buy it himself). While there, I ministered to a worker who heard about Jesus but never received Him. For the past two days, this man has been sending me text messages about his joy of receiving Jesus and thanking me for telling him about the Gospel. Jesus’ is fame is all around this land, and I tell Him that all the time. People love His name.

SPECIAL NOTE TO OUR PRAYER AND FINANCIAL SUPPORT FAMILY
This past week a woman who was visiting our center gave us a prophetic word concerning the faithfulness and effectiveness of your prayers, and how your prayers continue to prepare the way before us to enable us to stay focused on doing the work the Lord has called us to do. We also prayed and thanked the Lord for those who pour their financial blessing and strength into our ministry. We knew this, but it was special to have the Lord give someone a prophetic word concerning the many of you who constantly uphold us in prayer and financial support. We thank God for you all. You truly are special.
All in Jesus name. Love,
Tyren and Tiffany Haynes
