Family Gift In Chulugo Village

UNEXPECTED HARVEST IN CHULUGO VILLAGE
One of the men who were saved and baptized earlier this month is named Musa. He returned to church this past Sunday and afterwards asked for a ride home. It was about to rain, so Victor and I used someone’s car to take him back to his village (about a 30 minute walk away). We were about to leave his house when the Holy Spirit prompted us to share the gospel with his family. Even though Victor was hungry, tired and wanted to go home, he willingly translated for me. (Victor is one of those servants of God who will give all that he has to do the will of God). The Holy Spirit had me share an analogy with them about knowing the truth of God, before asking Musa’s family if I could share the good news of Jesus with them. Neighbors and some children gathered around as we began telling them about Jesus. All of them (see photo) surrendered their lives to Jesus. They all said it was their first time to accept Jesus as their Savior. When I asked Musa which ones were his family, he pointed to a number of adults standing in the back. We believe taking Musa home was in God’s plan. That day, the Lord gave Musa a very precious gift, a family that believes in Jesus Christ as their only Lord and Savior.

HARVESTING A CITY FOR THE GLORY OF GOD
Surprise Meeting in the HospitalMonday, Victor, Gazani and I ministered at the Hospital. There Gazani met a patient who is in charge of the huge Mosque in the city. This man was sharing things about his religion with Gazani, but was very interested in hearing about the love of Christ. He actually invited Gazani back to continue talking with him. The Lord truly knows the hearts of all men. We pray that this muslim patient would have a sincere hunger for the truth of God and salvation of Jesus Christ.

Please Pray for Coming Outreach
The Holy Spirit has been making it very clear to me that it’s time to charge forward into His harvest. It’s time to be fully confident in Him. It’s not time to sit and think about what can be done, but it’s time to acknowledge and enter into what He’s already done and set up (prepared) for us. The harvest is actually a prepared work (Ephesian 2:10), that is, a people’s heart the Holy Spirit has set up to hear the good news of Jesus Christ, and be transformed by His presence. Friday evening, March 26, we are planning to show the Jesus Film, preach the gospel and pray for the sick in Chuaula Market district of Lichinga. My heart’s desire is that we’d exalt the name of Jesus, welcome the Holy Spirit and allow Him to do whatever He pleases to do in our midst. Please join us in praying for this event, and continue to cry out for the harvest of souls that are in desperate need of Jesus Christ our Saviour.
We love you,
Tyren and Tiffany Haynes
