The Lord is Good and Does Good

There is no hiding it.  We are in love.  We are desperate to know what it's like to know the Lord and depend utterly upon Him.  For us, life is about the great love God has for us.  It's not about "overcoming"; we are already overcomers (Romans 8:37)!  Life can't be about situations we encounter because our life is about the person-the Son of God, Jesus Christ.  We have a freedom to know Him intimately, even in difficulties.  We can expect Him to do good, working out all things for His pleasure and according to His will.

We were confident that it was the Lord's will for us to go to Malawi to renew/amend passports, and get work done on our car (yes, more car problems).  We needed lots of funds so it didn't seem like the right time; but we understand that one must be driven by the will of God and not situations or lack of resources.  When we got to Malawi, the Lord provided via a couple hundred dollars in discounts off on our car work-without us even asking for them!  Then, we surprisingly received funds at just the right time from people who just wanted to bless us.  We also got a good deal on a local drum that we wanted to buy for a friend's village ministry.

Driving through one area, I was stopped at one of the many police stops, asked to go to the back of my vehicle, and was requested to "give something" to 3 policemen so they'd let me through the barricade.  The Lord gave me a prophetic word that released the fear of the Lord within their hearts.  They stopped their schemes.  One received prayer and I ended up giving him a Bible.  Because of the encounter at this police barricade, I was later able to minister to the Police Commander of the area.  Though at first the situation didn't look good, I know I was stopped just because Jesus wanted to shine.

The Lord did many, many other things during this trip.  Through everything, He convinced us even the more, to know His heart and believe in how good He is toward His kids.  Life is about the Lord and His goodness towards us.  Life isn't about, nor dependent upon, the circumstances that come upon us.  We ought to fear the Lord and His goodness!

Please pray for us.  We want to go beyond limits, live on the edge, and watch God do the unimaginable as we put our trust in Him!  There is no fear in love...we can do anything He wants us to do.  We must prepare hearts for His presence, and draw people to fall in love with Jesus-first love!  That's what we've been called to do.  Will you join us?  Will you pray and believe with us?  Come and visit us!  Together, we can bring salvation and a revival of love to the streets, stores, villages and to nations.

Love, Tyren and Tiffany Haynes
