Fruits of the Gospel

The Gospel is the power of God unto salvation (Romans 1:16).  As we are greatly helped by the Holy Spirit to proclaim it and demonstrate it, we are encouraged by the fruit.  Whether we see the immediate results in ministry, or not, we choose to believe God and obey Him.  This is a priority of love for us.  Weekly, we experience testimonies of the gospel of Jesus Christ.  Below are just a few.  Pastor Deus (Iris Tanzania Director) communicated the first 3 testimonies to me from past ministry in Tanzania.

  • Tanzania:  "Love Never Fails" Conference in Nyaragusu Refugee Camp, May 2013:  Churches are experiencing increased growth and salvations.
  • Tanzania:  Maasai Land Conference 2012:  I gave a prophetic word to a man saying that the Lord would give him a sign by having one of his goats bear twins. (At the time I didn’t know goats could bear twins.)  This year I was told that not one, but many of his goats had twins.
  • Tanzania:  Maasai Land Conference 2012:  It hadn’t rained well for a few years in the area of Maasai Land that we ministered in. The Lord moved to bring forth love and repentance in believers during the conference.  As a result, we knew that physical rain would come.  I was told that this past rainy season they had an abundance of rain for their crops and animals.
  • Prison Ministry:  A man had pain while walking, and I was requested to pray for him.  I stretched his legs out (obeying the Lord is a catalyst for releasing presence/power for healing) as I prayed and prophesied over him.  Mr. Daylight, who now leads the prison ministry for me, told me that the man is healed and has no more problems.
  • Gas Oven:  Our gas oven kept sending bursts of gas out of its vents which would blow out the flames every time we tried to light the oven.  After about 6 attempts, the oven still wouldn’t stay lit.  Amerel prayed asking the Lord to help.  I lit the oven one more time.  The gas stopped  bursting out of the vents and we were finally able to finish baking a carrot cake for our visitors.
  • Prayer:  One of our disciples in Assumane had been praying for two people.  Many she prays for are healed.  Both of these people died.  But, she is encouraged, and still continues to pray for the sick and preach the gospel.  Hallelujah!
  • Watchmen:  Our day guards (watchmen) and other workers were about to have their normal prayer time at the start of their day.  Instead, the Holy Spirit moved differently and they received prophetic words and visions for each other.  All of our guards (watchmen) and workers are saved.
  • On the Street:  I prophesied over a man who worked in the bread shop.  As a result, the presence of the Lord convicted him of a completely different area of his life.  So, as I was leaving the store, he called to me asking if it’s o.k. for him to have a girlfriend.  (In this case, a young woman whom you have no desire to marry, but are dating until you find the right one.)  His heart was very open for me to tell him what the Word of God (Bible) clearly says for his situation.
  • On the Street:  In July, we posted a blog called "The Beauty of Christ".  There was testimony about how an unsaved, jittery storekeeper was attracted to the peace of Christ.  At that moment a seed was sown.  I recently went back into the store.  The same man looked at me and asked, "Why do you have so much peace?  I want to know."  I told him about Jesus Christ and why he must receive Him.  A seed was sown earlier, and now a man knows that what has captivated his heart wasn't simply a peace, but Jesus Christ Himself.  We pray that as the man learns more, he will embrace Jesus as his only Lord and Saviour.
  • In our Home:  One day, Tiffany woke up experiencing very painful cramps in her abdomen.  She thought that it was something she had eaten the night before.  After praying and receiving prayer for the pains to cease, they still hadn't gone away.  She decided to go to bed thinking maybe she'd feel better if she was lying down.  As she was lying in bed, she began to remember how God had been revealing His kingdom reality to her recently.  So, she decided that instead of lying around in bed experiencing pain, she was going to walk in the reality that there is no pain in the Kingdom.  Still experiencing pain, she began to rise up out of bed.  The pain immediately left and never came back!

Tyren and Tiffany Haynes
