We returned
from Pemba. We stayed longer in Pemba than
planned because we had to fix a part on our car. We still have a little more work to do on our car, but we're home now. The Lord used our extended visit in Pemba to open
doors to His dreams for us that we’ve been embracing in our hearts. Pray that the Lord would open our hearts and increase our vision for His salvation and presence in the nations.

While in Pemba, we spent time with our lovely friends Jesse and Tanya along with their kids Zoe and Zion. Jesse and Tanya were missionaries in Lichinga with Iris for 3 years before the Lord released them to the nations. As they reach the unreached people groups, stir up harvesters, and prepare believers for intense ministry, the Lord uses them to bring spiritual transformation and order that opens the way for greater ministry to happen.

To the left, you can see that it often gets into the 40's at night in Lichinga during the cold season. According to our thermometer in our house, this online forecast seems to be pretty accurate. The morning we drove to Pemba, it was about 45 degress Farenheit at 6 a.m. |

(Front wheel side) I, and one of the Iris mechanics in Pemba, removed the wheel knuckle and a lot more to replace the needle bearing on our car. The roads here, even the paved roads, are bumpy, so car maintenance is a constant thing. |
The Lord is still doing wonderful things in our midst. Hopefully we can summarize some testimonies in our next blog. Thank you for praying for us, and sharing your joy and excitement with us as the Lord continues to expand our vision.
