It's the dawning of a new day for Iris Global (formerly Iris Ministries) and for us. July 25-28, we had the privilege to be part of Iris's Global Team Meeting (GTM) with it's founders, Rolland and Heidi Baker, along with Surprise Sithole, Pastor Jose, and leaders from Mozambique and other countries. Since we are overseeing an Iris base in Lichinga with our Director, Annelisa Wilcox, we were also invited to attend this small gathering. So much happened! We are truly refreshed! We were also utterly overwhelmed with the love and creative beauty of the Lord as He clothed His Iris bride with greater glory and launched her out further into the profound depths of His global call for her on earth. During the encounter, we were personally able to connect with many leaders for the first time, and together we dreamed of revival and stirring up the hearts of nations for our Lord alone.

and all of Iris (globally) moved to a new level. |

Under the influence and laid out by the Holy Spirit in Jesus' joy and love.
We spent plenty of "floor time", too. Sand was everywhere, but people didn't mind the conditions.
We just wanted Jesus, and He met with us. |
|
Food was served and we ate in the fullness of joy.
We fellowshipped with other Iris leaders from
all over Africa and the world. |

We enjoyed sports as we took part in the "Iris Olympics" during the GTM.
Above is the winning trophy (or some kind of monument)! |
Various students from the Iris Harvest School of Missions served in
all sorts of ways to help cook, clean, setup and pray for the conference.
I met new friends and Iris leaders like Pastor Andrew from Sierra Leone.
West Africa, here I come!
Now that the GTM is over, we've spent some time in Iris's Harvest School of Missions in Pemba.
Here laid down lovers are being trained.
I spoke at the school about the presence of God.
Tiffany and I also did a "back porch" session to answer
questions about our center in Lichinga.
We drove to Pemba last week (12 hours) for the GTM, but are tarrying here in Pemba for a little bit while waiting for new needle bearings for our car to arrive from South Africa. The Lord is using this precious time to build valuable friendships, and prepare the stage for world evangelism. Pray that the Lord would continue to guide us and mercifully direct us that we may branch out releasing people into their destiny, stand with and strengthen other leaders and churches within Iris, and fulfill our call to take the love of the Father and His gospel to the nations of Africa and the world.
Love and more love,
Tyren
