2013 Newsletter - The Greater Work of the Lord's Presence

We are excited to send you our Fruitfulness for a Greater Harvest Newsletter for 2013.  This newsletter captures the heart of our ministry this year by focusing on how the presence of the Lord is consuming hearts here in Lichinga.  We've also included fun facts about life here.

We created this newsletter just for you as a way to express our gratitude for all of you who pray and financially give to the work here in Lichinga, Mozambique.  As you read it, may your hearts rejoice as you see some of the fruits of your labor, and how the Lord is taking the work here to greater levels.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

We celebrated Christmas as a center on Monday, December 23.  Monday was a very busy day, because of the funeral for one of our guards who died in a bicycle accident over the weekend.

Here are some photos of our Christmas Day.

Our beautiful Christmas tree and simple gifts we gave to one another.

It's rainy season in Lichinga.  Most of Christmas Day there were rain showers.  But, at
least one could still wear shorts and a t-shirt!

Merry Christmas to you!!
Remembering and celebrating the love of our Lord,

The Haynes Family

November Photos

Here's a photo glimpse of some events that happened in November:  Birthdays, Pemba, Fun and Eating interesting things.

We celebrated Amerel and Isaiah's birthdays.  The kids loved
having Grandma (Tyren's mom) here during this time.

Both Isaiah and Amerel had their own homemade cake on their birthdays.

We all drove in our car to Pemba to attend the wedding of our base Director, Annelisa.
The wedding was on the beach.

Our 2 little girls dressed up for the wedding.

Our center enjoyed the visit of a local Baptist church's kids program...
dancing, singing, Bible teaching, fun, playing, and of course, FOOD!

The children arrived and left in this big truck.

Nyamu season.  These tasty little bugs (called nyamu) come out of the ground in our yard.  Victo and his wife, Janeti,
cooked some for us.  I ate mine mixed with popcorn.  Delicious!!!

Some people preferred to eat the bugs by themselves...like Amerel here!
Even Tiffany and my mom tried them!

Love,  Tyren and Tiffany
